Status Quo's Francis Rossi and Rick Parfitt make New Years Honours List Status Quo Tickets
Veteran rockers are awarded OBEs with ex-Shadows star Jet Harris
Status Quo stars Francis Rossi and Rick Parfitt have been awarded OBEs in the New Years Honours List.
The pair, whose band were just this week named the hardest-working group in the British music industry, have been honoured for their services to music and charity.
They join a host of stars including Ex-Shadows bassist Jet Harris in the New Years Honours List 2010.
Status Quo have helped to raise funds for various charities including the Prince's Trust, the Heart Foundation and Nordoff-Robbins Music Therapy.
Over the last year, the band, who have scored over 60 chart hits in the UK, have played to 250,000 people at 27 arenas.
