Former Pavement frontman will go out in support of new album

Stephen Malkmus and the Jicks have announced a North American tour, kicking off March 19 in Minneapolis.

The outing will coincide with the release of Malkmus’s fourth album, entitled ‘Real Emotional Trash’. The album comes out March 4.

The dates announced so far are:

Minneapolis, MN - First Avenue (March 19)
Milwaukee, WI - Pabst Theater (20)
Chicago, IL - Vic Theatre (21)
Indianapolis, IN - Vogue Theater (22)
Newport, KY - Southgate House (23)
Nashville, TN - Mercy Lounge (25)
Atlanta, GA - Variety Playhouse (26)
Washington, DC - 9:30 Club (28)
Philadelphia, PA – Fillmore (29)
New York, NY - Bowery Ballroom (31)
Brooklyn, NY - Music Hall of Williamsburg (April 2)
Boston, MA - Paradise Rock Club (3)
North Adams, MA - MASS MoCA (4)
