Stephen Malkmus And The Jicks announce tour

The former Pavement man hits the big cities

Stephen Malkmus And The Jicks have announced a UK and Irish tour, to take place in June.

The ex-Pavement frontman will call at venues in London, Manchester, Glasgow and Dublin.

Malkmus and The Jicks, now featuring former Sleater-Kinney drummer Janet Weiss, are set to release their new album 'Real Emotional Trash' on March 3.

It's the singer's fourth solo album, and his first with his band The Jicks since 2003's 'Pig Lib'.

The dates are as follows:
