Stephen Malkmus lines up summer shows

Ex-Pavement man will gig around England before heading to Scottish festival

Stephen Malkmus And The Jicks are set to return to the UK for a tour this August.

The band, fronted by ex-Pavement singer and guitarist Malkmus, will perform five dates around England in preparation for their appearance at Scotland's Hydro Connect Festival on August 29.

Malkmus played a small UK tour in June this year, after releasing his fourth solo album, 'Real Emotional Trash', earlier in 2008.
