Stephen Malkmus, Ra Ra Riot added to Noise Pop 2009

Stephen Malkmus, St. Vincent, Josh Ritter, French Kicks, Ra Ra Riot, Martha Wainwright, Broken West, The Morning Benders and The Submarines have all been added to San Francisco’s Noise Pop Festival, taking place from February 24 - March 1 next year.

They join previously announced acts Antony & The Johnsons, New Pornographers frontman AC Newman, No Age, Goblin Cock, Clues and Dear And The Headlights at the event, which will see shows take place in venues all over the city.

The event runs along the same lines as Austin's South by Southwest and New York’s CMJ, with a film festival, panel discussions, and other industry-related events.

Noise Pop Festival badges are on sale now at www.noisepop.com/2009. Badges grant the owner entry to all general admission Noise Pop Festival events and are priced at $150 each with a 10% discount being offered until January 12.
