TWO STEP!

Steps members H and CLAIRE are to reform as a duo.

The pop five piece announced their split on Boxing Day (December
26), ending months of speculation as to their future. The group sold over 12 million records and recently released their greatest hits 'Gold'.

Speaking yesterday on ITV Saturday morning show CD:UK, Claire Richards and H (Ian Watkins), announced their intention to go it alone, saying a major label deal would be secured within days.

H said he has spoken to the remaining members of the group, Faye Tozer, Lisa Scott Lee and Lee Latchford-Evans, who were pleased for the pair.

It is likely that H and Claire will debut their new material on a specially commissioned light entertainment show.
