Faye Tozer to duet with Russell Watson in New Zealand...

FAYE TOZER is to team up with opera-lite star RUSSELL WATSON for her first public performance since the demise of her group, Steps, NME.COM can reveal.

Tozer will duet with the populist tenor on one of his songs, 'Someone Like You', at an open-air concert in Auckland Harbour, New Zealand, on February 6. She is also expected to perform a solo set during the gig, though it's not yet known if this will feature any Steps hits.

The pair will spend some days rehearsing and performing onboard the luxury ocean liner QE2 on the days leading up to the New Zealand date. The whole experience will be filmed by a documentary crew for a 90-minute TV special.

Tozer first met Watson when she co-presented the 'Prom in the Park' concert in London, at which opera-man Watson was a guest, last summer.
