STEREOLAB'S 'JAM' SESSION

STEREOLAB release a new album 'SOUND-DUST' on September 3 - with one track featuring lyrics taken from CHRIS MORRIS' controversial TV comedy show 'JAM'.

However, the double album, which is being released through their own Duophonic label, no longer features long-serving band member Morgan Lhote, as she's left to pursue her own projects.

The album was produced by John McEntire and Jim O'Rourke and is preceeded by a four-track EP, 'Captain Easychord', on September 3.

The Chris Morris inspired track is titled 'Nothing To Do With Me', although it is not yet clear which sketch has been sampled. The reclusive Morris gave permission for his words to be used as, according to the band's spokesman, he's a "massive fan" of the band.

Stereolab will tour the UK in December.
