Stevie Wonder lines-up special re-release
Soul singer is set to unleash one of his biggest hits again
Stevie Wonder has announced plans to re-release one of his biggest hit singles.
The legendary soul singer is due to unleash 'For Once In My Life' on digital formats and seven-inch single via the Tamla Motown label on December 8.
The song was originally released 40 years ago to the week, and appears on Wonder's 'Definitive Collection' compilation album, which has sold well over 500,000 copies in the UK. It was originally a Number Three hit in the UK in 1968, and it went as high as Number Two on the US Billboard chart.
As previously reported on NME.COM, the singer is set to receive the Library of Congress Gershwin Prize for Popular Song, on February 23 next year in Washington DC, at the Library's Great Hall.
A concert will also take place the following evening.
