Stone Gods postpone dates on UK tour

Ex-Darkness drummer Ed Graham has fallen ill

Stone Gods have had to cancel the first three dates of their UK tour after their drummer, ex-Darkness sticksman Ed Graham, became ill.

The tour which started yesterday (June 10), will continue with a stand-in drummer for their show at Download festival in Donington Park this weekend (June 13).

A statement posted on their Stonegods.co.uk said: "In order to make the rest of the tour and the two festival gigs happen, we are in the process of rehearsing a new drummer. We are really sorry to have to do this, but Ed is just not able to play drums at the moment.

"We apologise for any inconvenience that this might
cause. As soon as we have the rescheduled dates we will post them via
newsletter, myspace and website. Stay tuned for further info."

The band's debut album 'Silver Spoons And Broken Bones' is due out on July 7.
