Stone Temple Pilots's frontman Scott Weiland has experienced a mild seizure on a commercial flight that resulted in the plane having to make an emergency landing at Dallas Fort Worth airport.
Flying from Los Angeles to Miami, flight staff had to call for medical assistance over the loud speaker and oxygen was administered onboard, reports Rolling Stone.
Flying with his Scott Weiland Band, the singer had reportedly come round and was in good spirits as he was taken to hospital.
Weiland - who recently finished a string of North American dates with Stone Temple Pilots - was travelling to Miami for a performance and to launch his clothing line Weiland for English Laundry at the club Mansion.
A representative who was flying with Weiland, told Rolling Stone that the singer has a history of seizures, but is now "Doing great" and expects to appear at the club in Miami as scheduled.
