Stone Temple Pilots have revealed their plans to record a new album.
The follow-up to 2001's 'Shangri-La Dee Da', the band's sixth studio album is expected some time in 2010.
"When we get back [from tour], we're going to finish the album," singer Scott Weiland told Spinner. "Then, when we finish the album, there will be a big tour around its release and that will probably be a long tour."
Currently on a North American tour the as-yet-untitled album is expected to be released next spring or summer, although contractual disputes between the group and Atlantic Records are said to be ongoing.
