More stellar bands are added to the ShockWaves Awards Shows 2006

The Streets, Hard-Fi and Elbow have all been confirmed in the second wave of bands to be announced for the ShockWaves NME Awards Shows 2006.

Also set to join the party are The Bravery, The Cribs, Goldie Lookin Chain and The Dead 60s.

The announcements cement next year’s line-up as the biggest ever, and feature the most in demand bands of the moment.

Hitting London for a fortnight in February, the run of gigs already boasts the The Magic Numbers, Editors and The Zutons before the climax of the ShockWaves NME Awards 2006 on February 23.

The Dead 60s will kick off the second wave of shows on February 11 at London’s KOKO, with The Paddingtons following at the same venue the next night (12).

Hard-Fi are set to hit Hammersmith Palais on February 13 while Goldie Lookin Chain play the Astoria on February 15.

The same venue will also play host to The Streets (18), The Cribs (19), The Bravery (20) and Elbow (21).
