Stricken City announce split and final album details
Band also set date for final album release
Stricken City have announced that they have split up.
The London band, who released their debut album ‘Songs About People I Know’ in 2009, issued a short statement today (December 16) about the split.
"Our new album, 'Losing Colour', will be our last," they explained. "February 10 will be our final performance. Thank you to anyone who helped in any way, bought a record and came to a show. We never stood a chance."
As indicated in the statement, the band will play a farewell show on February 10. It will take place at The Drop in Stoke Newington, London.
The band have also announced that their final album 'Losing Colour' will be released on February 7 via Music.strickencity.com. The album will be available on a pay-as-you-want basis.
