Stuntman injured during filming of ‘The Hangover 2’

Australian Scott McLean is in 'medically induced coma'

A stuntman has been involved in a serious accident on the set of forthcoming comedy sequel The Hangover 2.

Scott McLean was seriously injured last week (December 17) in a car accident that was part of a planned stunt involving a car and a truck, reports Variety.

He was taken to a Bangkok hospital where was put into a “medically induced coma” to help him speed up his recovery. Doctors have said the outlook is “positive” for the Australian stuntman’s recovery.

McLean‘s stunt credits include The Matrix, Star Wars: Episode II – Attack of the Clones and Ghost Rider.

Earlier this year, an extra was hurt on the set of Transformers: Dark Of The Moon while camera technician Conway Wickliffe died while filming a car stunt in The Dark Knight in 2007.
