Brett Anderson sells out solo dates in five minutes

Former Suede singer Brett Anderson’s first ever solo dates have sold out five minutes after going on sale.

The star plays three dates at London’s Bush Hall on March 5, 6 and 7.

Anderson will showcase his forthcoming self-titled solo album, out on March 26, at the gigs.

A single, ‘Love Is Dead’, will precede the album’s release on March 5, the day of the first London show.

Anderson said of the single: “'Love Is Dead' is one of those rare songs that you manage to write every ten years that explains how you feel in exactly the right way.

“The last time that happened was with 'Trash' (1996 Suede single). It seems right that it should happen again now."

Other sons to be featured on the album are ‘Song For My Father’, ‘Scorpio Rising’ and ‘One Lazy Morning’.
