Suede have said they may write some new material together - having already confirmed that they're playing more shows in 2011.

The band, who recently announced plans to re-release each of their five studio albums, haven’t released a new song since 2003's double A-side single 'Attitude'/'Golden Gun'.

Speaking to XFM, singer Brett Anderson said: "There's a possibility we could do some writing together but no-one ever knows about it. Nothing would see the light of day unless I was really, really excited about it."

The band will play their first three albums in full across three nights at London's O2 Academy Brixton in May. Anderson admitted: "Sometimes you can get quite used to just banging through the hits when you're touring. Looking through your back catalogue and being challenged by it... is probably quite good for you as a musician."
