The National man curates Cincinnati festival

The National guitarist Bryce Dessner is curating the second Music Now festival in Cincinnati.

This year’s festival will feature performances by Sufjan Stevens, My Brightest Diamond and Clogs, the band in which Dessner is also a member.

Pitchfork reports that Stevens will perform with a string quartet as well as special guests to be announced at a later date. Shara Worden of My Brightest Diamond will perform with both Stevens and Clogs.

The National are currently gearing up for the release of their fourth album, which is due to be released in May.

Music Now takes place May 6-7 in Cincinnati, Ohio.
