Sufjan Stevens
He'll take part in PENultimate Lit in Brooklyn
Just days after completing his ‘BQE‘ project at the Brooklyn Academy of Music Sufjan Stevens has confirmed another art event in the borough, this time at local venue Southpaw.
Stevens will take part in PENultimate Lit, which according to the official website for the event “brings together notable writers and artists to explore the intersection of literature and the arts in an attempt to discern what, in the 21st Century, makes writing really matter.”
He will appear at the event on November 28, as will writer and musicianRick Moody and novelist Wesley Stace.
Stevens is an accomplished writer, having received his MFA in Creative Writing at the New School in Manhattan, and has been published in the UK’s Sunday Observer, Topic, and the Best American Non-Required Reading 2007.
