Keisha Buchanan leaves Sugababes Sugababes Tickets

Last original member leaves, yet Heidi and Amelle set to continue

The last original member of Sugababes Keisha Buchanan has left the group.

In a statement on Sugababes.com the group revealed that Keisha Buchanan would be going solo, while Heidi Range and Amelle Berrabah would still continue as 'Sugababes' with new member, former UK Eurovision entrant Jade Ewen.

Sugababes will still be releasing their new album 'Sweet 7' on November 23. Buchanan has since posted in Twitter that it was 'not her decision' to leave the band.

So they're basically a totally different band to the three people who used to be Sugababes ten years or so ago?Brill.

As uncool as it might be to like them in 2009, this is sad news. For all the gossip and rumours about her being a bit of a bitch, Keisha *was* Sugababes.

I would still rather Sugababes to Girls Aloud, any day of the week.

She totally made Sugababes man - she brought the soul to the group and did a lot of the writing....:(I hope she releases brilliant solo material!

R-I-P Sugababes.... the people's pop princesses. The original line up will be missed.

Ah, Sugababes. The walking eyeliner-adverts who thought Morrissey was a band (innit). The C-Beebies fodder who had never heard of Gary Numan, despite sampling his music on one of their abominable hits. The uniquely talentless mutant sparrows who make 'Here Come The Girls' sound like a warning. Etc etc. Is it too much to hope that the inexplicable karaoke career of this ever-morphing three-headed slagheap might now be at an end?

actually tarebo01, the sugababes do (well did) write their own songs... i'll admit i have their 'change' album ans their names are credited in the songwriters with the lyrics in the booklett...
