Ra Ra Riot are studio-bound this month to record their debut EP.
Speaking to NME.COM, violin player Rebecca Zeller revealed their plans for the nine-day recording session.
She said: “We are planning on recording 5-7 songs (although) we haven't started pre-production yet”.
And despite selling over 500 copies of the band’s demo through live shows and Myspace, Zeller says the band were far from satisfied with the result.
She added: “While the feedback has been great it's been tough because it was recorded almost a year ago and we weren't able to put as much thought and preparation into it as we would have liked.”
Ra Ra Riot recently announced a show at New York’s Mercury Lounge on January 31, and revealed they are currently in the midst of booking a London date in April, as well as a number of shows at SXSW.
