Gruff Rhys, Roots Manuva added to Africa Exprez Paris gig
Super Furry Animals' Gruff Rhys and Guto Pryce have been added for the bill for Africa Exprez' forthcoming collaboration event, which takes place in Paris on August 5.

The duo will join the likes of Damon Albarn, Patrick Wolf, Amadou & Mariam, The Magic Numbers, Reverend And The Makers, Rachid Taha, Jamie T and Bashy at the performance, which sees the collective headline the French capital's Festival FNAC Indétendances 2009.

Other new acts on the bill include Barclaycard Music Prize nominee Speech Debelle, Ms Dynamite and Roots Manuva.

The news comes as a 17-track compilation, 'Africa Express Presents…', is released, featuring tracks by some of Africa's most respected artists chosen by the likes of Franz Ferdinand, Massive Attack and Elvis Costello.

The release is available now on CD and DVD exclusively through Puma and Fnac stores, and as a download through Fnac.com and AWAL/iTunes.
