Super Furry Animals score highest new entry on UK album chart

Super Furry Animals have scored the highest new entry on the UK album chart tonight with 'Hey Venus!'.

The Welsh indie outfit's eighth LP went in at 11, despite the failure of comeback single 'Show Your Hand' to penetrate the UK singles chart's Top 40 last week.

The album rundown is topped by Newton Faulkner's 'Hand Built By Robots', while troubled star Amy Winehouse's 'Back In Black' is at Number Two, 42 weeks after it first charted.

The singles chart is topped by Sean Kingston's 'Beautiful Girls'.

The Top Ten is:

1. Sean Kingston - 'Beautiful Girls'
2. Kanye West - 'Stronger'
3. Plain White Ts - 'Hey There Delilah'
4. Robyn With Kleerup - 'With Every Heartbeat'
5. Rihanna - 'Shut Up And Drive'
6. Timbaland - 'The Way I Am'
7. Gym Class Heroes - 'Clothes Off'
