The Daily Ligger: Slash goes as Slash to Halloween

Welcome to the Daily Ligger, your morning pit-stop to find out who in the world of indie and rock has been up to what.

Today's top gossip:

It had to happen. For everyone else Halloween is a time for fancy dress, however, for former Guns N' Roses guitarist Slash it's the one night of the year he blends into the crowd. The top-hatted guitarist threw a bash at at the club Pacha's in New York on Saturday night (November 3). Wearing his trademark shades, leather jacket and top hat, revellers spent the night telling Slash how he had a "great costume", not realising it was him.

Today's newspaper gossip:

Patti LaBell asking for pins to keep her gigantic diamonte hate from sliding off backstage (The Mirror).

Mika in his dressing room asking for honey for his sore throat (The Mirror).

Following Super Furry Animals set at London’s Roundhouse, ‘The IT Crowd’’s Richard Ayoade was seen talking to Gruff Rhys, while Fionn Regan was spotted in the crowd with some mates, and Goldie Lookin Chain’s Adam Hussain was at the afterparty, where someone accidentally threw up on him.
