Super Furry Animals have announced details of a club tour of AMERICA and CANADA to promote their new album 'MWNG'.

The Welsh-language album is released on June 20 in the US.

The dates are: Hoboken Maxwell's (June 6)Washington Black Cat (7)Cleveland Grog Shop (8)Chicago Double Door (9)Detroit Seven's House (10)Toronto Horseshoe (12-13)Philadelphia Upstage (15)New York Bowery Ballroom (16) Boston TT's (17)

The Super Furries' last US tour was a month-long visit last autumn. A spokesperson for the band told nme.com that the venues they were playing this time are range from a few hundred to a few thousand in capacity.

As previously revealed on nme.com, the band have already started work on a new studio album, which has a working title of 'Text Messaging Is Destroying The Pub Quiz As We Know It', which they hope to release by the end of the year.

Super Furry Animals return to the UK to play The Carling Weekend Festivals at Reading (August 26), and Leeds (27).
