Supergrass spin-off band The Hot Rats have announced details of their debut US tour.

The covers band, who features Supergrass' Gaz Coombes and Danny Goffey plus Radiohead producer Nigel Godrich, will begin their tour in Brooklyn on January 12.

The group who have recently finished a tour of the UK and released their first single, will also hit New York City as well as play two shows in Los Angeles.

The Hot Rats will play the following:

Brooklyn, NY Music Hall of Williamsburg (January 12)
New York City, NY Bowery Ballroom (14)
Los Angeles, CA Space land (19)
Los Angeles, CA Troubadour (21)
