Brooklyn's finest bring disco to Austin

The Rapture rock South By Southwest

The Rapture performed their sole live performance at South By Southwest tonight (March 14) at La Zona Rosa, one of the largest venues hosting shows at the four-day event.

With a reported guest list of 1,300 people, just 800 gained admission to the show, the only live slot the band will play at the festival.

Opening with ‘Down For So Long’ the band made their way through a 13-song set list including ‘Get Myself Into It’, ‘Sister Saviour’, and ‘House of Jealous Lovers’.

Speaking to NME.COM after the show, saxophonist Gabriel Andruzzi revealed the majority of the band would return to New York today, while he and Matt Safer will remain to DJ a party in Austin tonight (March 15).
