Does It Offend You, Yeah? and Joe Lean watch duo in Austin

The Kills drew a massive crowd to their show at the Fader Fort this afternoon in Austin.

The duo whose brand new album ‘Midnight Boom’ is being released next week (March 18), took to the stage at the party as one of several appearances they are making this week during the SXSW Music Festival.

Opening with ‘U.R.A. Fever’ the band tore through a length 13-song set for the afternoon crowd including Does It Offend You Yeah? and Joe Lean and the Jing Jang Jong.

Despite the hot temperatures, Alison Mosshart remained cool in her layered outfit, including a red flannel shirt while Kate Moss’ beau Jamie Hince made good use of his trademark sunglasses in the glaring sunshine.

The band continued their SXSW trawl tonight with a packed show at the Domino showcase at Antone’s.

They played:

‘U.R.A. Fever’
‘Pull You’
‘Tape Song’
‘Sour Cherry’
‘Kissy Kissy’
‘Cheap and Cheerful’
‘Alphabet Pony’
‘Fried My Little Brains’
‘No Wow’
‘Good Ones’
‘Love Is A Deserter’
‘Goodnight Bad Morning’

I wish that I was SXSW. I would have loved to hear The Kills. They are so sick.
