SXSW: The Noisettes debut songs at NME/Transgressive show

London rockers The Noisettes showed off a slew of new songs at the NME/Transgressive party at the Wave venue this afternoon (March 13) at SXSW.

The trio played later than expected after a scheduling mix-up, taking the stage at 5pm.

The show was an energetic affair, with singer Shingai Shoniwa venturing into the crowd during 'Beat Of My Heart', sitting on the bar to sing.

"It's going to be an exciting year," announced Shoniwa, before ending the set with 'Sister Rosette' to rapturous applause, referring to the new material the band had showcased.

The Noisettes played:

'Scratch Your Name'
'Beat Of My Heart'
'E-Way'
'Atticus'
'Sister Rosette'
