Fleet Foxes kick off last day of SXSW

Seattle country rockers Fleet Foxes played the first set of the day at the NME showcase gig at the Wave venue at SXSW today (March 15) at 1pm (CMT).

The band, who have just signed to Bella Union records in the UK, played a crowd-pleasing set of tender country rock characterised by impressive joint vocals from the band members and impeccable country rock beards.

Before playing �Oliver James� bassist/singer Christian Wargo said, �I�m actually pretty impressed with us right now,� before leading the crowd, which included BBC Radio One DJ Steve Lamacq, into a round of applause.
