The Brooklyn duo go for broke at Texas barbeque

Enthusiastic fans stagedived, moshed and rushed the stage to dance with Matt and KIm at their performance at South by Southwest's Mess With Texas Barbeque tonight (March 15).

The Brooklyn duo banged out their trademark drum-and-keyboards DIY duets for an adoring crowd who pumped their fists in the air from the very first song -- a cover of 'The Final Countdown'.

"I don't know if anyone else woke up this morning feeling like they'd been in a brawl," said Matt on this, the final day of the Austin festival. "I woke up with a limp!"

Matt and KIm played 'Yeah Yeah', which Matt told the audience is a song about regret, as well as crowd-pleaser 'Silver Tiles' -- "a song for old friends".

The duo were all smiles throughout their 30-minute set, looking like there was nowhere else on earth they'd rather be. Before saying goodnight, Matt sincerely thanked the audience for making their South by Southwest "so rockin'".
