Babyshambles pack out the NME stage at T In The Park
Pete Doherty turns up on time in Scotland
Babyshambles drew a massive crowd to the NME stage at T In The Park this afternoon (July 7).
Arriving on time, Doherty and his bandmates launched into an incendiary version of ‘Pipedown’, before following it up with the title track of their recent EP, ‘The Blinding’.
While performing tracks from their debut album ‘Down In Albion’, including ‘Killamangiro’, ‘Albion’ and ‘Fuck Forever’, the set also included a considerable number of unreleased tracks and songs from ‘The Blinding’, including ‘Beg, Borrow And Steal’.
Much of the crowd joined in on vocal duties for ‘Albion’, despite a protracted gap in the middle of the song due to technical problems.
Closing with ‘Fuck Forever’, Doherty threw his drink into the crowd and toppled several microphone stands.
NME.COM will be bringing you all the action from the T In The Park and Oxegen festivals this weekend.
