The Killers provide storming climax to T

There are no sound problems after Glasto issues

The Killers made up for the sound problems which dogged them at Glastonbury last month by providing a storming climax to the first full day of the 2007 T In The Park festival tonight (July 7).

The Las Vegas band came to Scotland for their first UK show since their headline slot at Worthy Farm, which caused controversy when the crowd complained strongly about the sound quality on the Pyramid Stage.

But there were no such problems for the Main Stage closers tonight as they tore through virtually the same setlist, though they bizarrely played 2006 single 'When You Were Young' twice, reprising it at the end of the set.

Frontman Brandon Flowers, clad in a black waistcoat and white shirt, said little to crowd, but earlier guitarist Dave Kuening told NME.COM how he loved playing before Scottish audiences, saying, "It's an honour to be asked to play in front of them."

The Killers played:

'Sam's Town'
'Interlude'
'When You Were Young'
'Bones'
'Somebody Told Me'
'Smile Like You Mean It'
'Jenny Was A Friend Of Mine'
'Uncle Johnny'
'This River Is Wild'
'Read My Mind'
'On Top'
'Bling (Confessions Of A King)'
'Mr Brightside'
'My List'
'Too Good To Be True'
'Shadowplay'
'For Reasons Unknown'
'All These Things That I've Done'
'Exitlude'
'When You Were Young (reprise)'
