Plus 122 medical cases, but festival organisers happy so far

Two arrests after day one at T In The Park

Two people have been arrested at T In The Park overnight (July 22), organisers have revealed.

They also announced that 122 people had been treated for medical ailments, with 46 receiving first aid and 76 being treated in the medical tent.

Chief Superintendent Matt Hamilton said he was encouraged by the low number of arrests and, in a statement, urged those at the event to "look after their belongings and each other".

Bob MacGregor, head of medical facilities at T In The Park, said that the number of people requiring medical treatment was low for the event.

"It has been a pleasantly quiet day [yesterday, July 11] for on-site medical teams," he explained. "People are having a good time, which is helped by the good weather."
