Seven people taken into custody, but not for on-site stabbing
Seven people have been taken into custody by police so far at the T In The Park festival, although no-one has been arrested in relation to the stabbing that occurred last night (July 12) in one of the camp sites.
As previously reported on NME.COM, a man suffered multiple stab wounds at the Scottish festival in the early hours of this morning (July 13), and is currently in hospital in Dundee. Police are looking for two suspects.
As of 8.00pm (BST) last night, seven people on the festival site had been taken into police custody for crimes unrelated to the stabbing, with festival organisers saying that none were for serious crimes.
After two days of the festival, 575 people had received medical treatment from the T In The Park medical team. The figure rose from 122 on Friday, with another 453 people treated yesterday.
