Formula One's Eddie Jordan plays surprise T In The Park show

Former Formula One boss Eddie Jordan and his band, Eddie And The Robbers, played a surprise gig in the Pet Sounds Arena at the T In The Park festival this afternoon (July 13).

Jordan and his band had been scheduled to headline the tent later on this evening, but swapped places with The Brian Jonestown Massacre, who will headline instead.

The band, with the former motor racing chief on drums, played covers of David Bowie's '"Heroes"', 'I'm Waiting (For The Man)' by The Velvet Underground and 'Like A Rolling Stone' by Bob Dylan, as well as Fleetwood Mac's 'Black Magic Woman'.

Jordan is friends with musicians including Stereophonics' Kelly Jones, prompting rumours that the set might feature a plethora of famous faces.

However, the band were not joined by any guest musicians, and instead played rock n roll set.
