Following super hot reports that the makers of 'The Weakest Link' would quite like to get Pete Doherty on the show, an undisclosed source in the TV world has told one of the red tops that a TV exec would quite like to get the Babyshambler to play a zombie in a new series that hasn’t been written yet.
Hence the headline: “PETE WILL TURN INTO A ZOMBIE: OFFICIAL”. Class.
Apparently Joss Whedon, the chap behind TV classic 'Buffy The Vampire Slayer', is thinking about making a spin-off to be shown on the BBC, and randomly mused that Doherty would make a good zombie.
Cue quips about his pale skin, blood paintings and the fact that he goes out at night. Like zombies do.
“He’ll play a real life approximation of himself,” the source said. Except he won’t, will he. Because it’s never going to bloody happen.
