Tabloid Hell: Lily gets ratty with a parking meter

Singers hits a blind spot over resident's bays

Following the news that Heather Mills McCartney can’t deal with the concept of a parking meter, Lily Allen is the latest celeb to be 'outed' by the tabs as a non lover of parking restrictions.

Allen had a dispute with her neighbours outside her house in Hackney, east London due to the claim that the singer parked her Mini Cooper in a private bay that does not belong to her.

Shock and, indeed, horror.

When a curtain twitcher caught Lily parking her car in the space he let rip.

An 'onlooker' described the scene.

he is quoted as saying: "The man marched over to Lily, started jabbing his finger at her and gave her a piece of his mind.

"She started screaming at him, telling him to shut up and to treat her with some respect."

Indeed, as the tabs hilariously continue to paint Allen’s descent into 'Sunset Boulevard'-style megalomania, we can’t wait for the next tall tale in which she screams at an innocent bell boy: "I DON'T DO STAIRS!"
