Tabloid Hell: Is Didier Drogba the next Pavarotti?

Football and music have always gone together - like Blake Fielder-Civil and stupid white vests.

And the joyous union is set to continue later this month as, according to today’s (September 13) red-tops, Chelsea marksman Didier Drogba is set to wow crowds by singing at the Royal Festival Hall in London.

Yup, on September 23 the spider-haired striker will swap his Nikes for a mic and bellow out a number at a charity concert for African HIV and AIDS victims.

“It shows real guts that he’s prepared to do it,” said an Albert Hall “source”. As long as he doesn’t get John Barnes involved to reprise his ‘World In Motion’ rap, we’re all happy.
