Tabloid Hell: Which old rocker do The Killers want now?
Brandon and co go granddad-raiding again
The Killers are clearly entering the "working with legends" phase of their career.
First it was Lou Reed who added his warbling to ’Tranquilize’ and now, according to today's (November 8) Star, it’s... Elton John.
Considering the last young act Elton helped out was James Blunt when he took the then-unknown army captain on tour, this seems like a self-sabotaging act from the carers of Brandon’s Tash.
Speaking about the link-up, Flowers said: “It would be nice to work with somebody new, you know?”
Yes, we know!
He continued: “It seems like nobody gets together enough any more. It would be nice to do something with someone like Elton John.”
If it does happen, will it be as buttock-clenchingly awful as Elton’s hook up with Eminem when he pretended to be Dido on 'Stan'?
