It’s troubling times for Amy Winehouse’s husband, Blake Fielder-Civil – currently sitting in Pentonville Prison awaiting trial after being accused of perverting the course of justice.

But help is at hand – from the noble figure of a certain Mr Peter Doherty who, according to the red-tops, has been checking in on the trilby-sporting husband-of-a-star to make sure he’s OK.

Pete turned up to Fielder-Civil’s court hearing on Saturday (November 10), and even made a 05:30 GMT meeting to Pentonville to drop off some clothes for him.

It probably perked Fielder-Civil up – with all those new neckties and trendy hats he’ll be the trendiest cat in D-wing.

That's just ridiculous. I had this picture in my head where Blake totally despises Pete for sleeping with his girl, but I guess it's not really like that. Maybe it is and Pete was just there to rub it in his face, haha, you're in jail, haha, I used to shag Amy, haha!
