Tabloid Hell: Amy Winehouse's beehive checked for drugs
Singer's infamous barnet searched for substances during jail visit
- November 15, 2007 | 0 Comments
Usually the location of choice for storing naughty substances is inside a bra, down some pants, or inside your shoe, maybe (we’ve heard).
But apparently guards at Pentonville Prison got suspicious when Amy Winehouse visited her husband Blake Fielder-Civil in the jail recently, and promptly made laser eyes at her famous beehive barnet, suspicious it was containing illegal treats.
According to The Sun, a warden made Amy run her fingers through her hair to prove it wasn’t laced with class As.
Luckily, nothing was found between the bristles, and Amy could continue her visit uninhibited. Phew, that could have been a hairy situation, etc.
