Sir Paul McCartney snubs Pete Doherty – Tabloid Hell

The ex-Beatles man had a special invitation from the Babyshambles star

Pete Doherty and Sir Paul McCartney struck up a friendship last year when they met for a joint interview.

However, according to the Daily Mirror’s 3AM column, McCartney didn’t take up an invitation from Doherty to come and see Babyshambles play, when they performed at London's Wembley Arena last November.

Still, McCartney had a pretty good excuse – the ex-Beatle was busy on the other side of the Atlantic so couldn’t make it.

Yeh it is a pointless story......but really, how can you call McCartney a tosser and Doherty a legend??? Get out and listen to some decent music cos you've clearly missed something somewhere!!

why does it have to be one or the other can you not just appreciate both of them for their achievements instead of being picky?

Always remember this: McCartney had cracked it before Doherty was even a fart in his Dad's pants.

Always remember this: Without McCartney, there would have been no Doherty.

So because McCartney 'cracked it' before Pete did, that makes him better? Yeaaaaah. Matter of opinion mate! Doherty is better, though..

Doherty's got to rack up some decades before his genius can be compared to McCartney. Hopefully one we'll be able to make the comparison. The story sums up how the NME's getting it so wrong.
