Hard-Fi cuss copycat groups – Tabloid Hell
There are too many Libertines clones about

Hard-Fi's lead singer Richard Archer has dissed bands who look to copy The Libertines in a bid to get a record deal and become famous.
The frontman - whose band was joined onstage by The Clash's Mick Jones last week - attacked the groups for their lack of innovation.
He said: "Bands as a genre seem to have become quite popular recently. And when that happens you get a load of bands that all want to sound like The Libertines."
According to The Daily Record, Archer added that groups who do this will not have any longevity.
“A lot of them have been signed but won't be around in six months' time because we have already had The Libertines and we don't need another one," he said. "It always amazes me when these bands come out and say that they are doing something new when they're not.”
He concluded: "You've got to be able to find your own voice – something that makes you different."
The Shockwaves NME Awards 2008 are coming soon – and it’s time to have your say. Vote now by heading to NME.COM/awardsvote and you could win VIP tickets to the ceremony, which takes place in London on February 28.
