The 'Smile' star has been undergoing treatment in London

Lily Allen has been receiving treatment for depression in a private residential clinic, according toThe Sun newspaper.

According to today's (March 5) edition, the singer is receiving treatment following her recent miscarriage and split from boyfriend Ed Simons of The Chemical Brothers.

Despite being admitted to the clinic, Allen is apparently allowed out to film her BBC TV show, 'Lily Allen And Friends', and to see friends.

The newspaper quotes an anonymous friend of Allen’s as saying: “She is responding really well to treatment and is pleased that she is being allowed out to film her TV show and to keep in touch with her friends supporting her.”
