Amy Winehouse laughs about Pete Doherty's jail term – Tabloid Hell

The singer is amused by the Babyshambles man's incarceration

Amy Winehouse laughed when she found out that Pete Doherty, her friend and sometime musical collaborator, had been jailed, according to The Sun.

The tabloid reports that Winehouse couldn't quite believe it when she heard the news, and supposedly doesn't take the Babyshambles man entirely seriously.

An anonymous source is quoted in the newspaper as saying: "Amy's first reaction when she heard was to laugh. She laughed and kept saying, 'I can't believe it'.

"Pete's just a comedy character to Amy. She thinks he's a bit of a clown."

Lets face it. A lot of people laughed when they heard the news. I can just see him in his little cell now. Ha ha ha ha. About time. I do hope he gets better though. This might be the start of it. The longer they leave him in there, the more chance he will have to reflect. Keep him in the full 14 weeks. Give him a shock.

At least Pete's actually now trying to get off the smack. She's the biggest clown given she doesn't seem to be making any steps to change.

maybe she laughed coz she was pissed off at all the times he's been to court and got nothing, and then we blake went to court, he went to prison straight away
