Amy Winehouse laughed when she found out that Pete Doherty, her friend and sometime musical collaborator, had been jailed, according to The Sun.

The tabloid reports that Winehouse couldn't quite believe it when she heard the news, and supposedly doesn't take the Babyshambles man entirely seriously.

An anonymous source is quoted in the newspaper as saying: "Amy's first reaction when she heard was to laugh. She laughed and kept saying, 'I can't believe it'.

"Pete's just a comedy character to Amy. She thinks he's a bit of a clown."
