Singer has been penning skits with James Corden and Mathew Horne

Lily Allen is supposedly penning a TV comedy with the stars of BBC3 comedy 'Gavin And Stacey'.

According to The Sun Allen has been writing comedy skits with the stars of the show and recent Shockwaves NME Awards hosts Mathew Horne and James Corden, with the results set for a BBC3 show.

The newspaper claims that Allen's sense of humour, displayed during their recent blossoming friendship, induced Corden to invite the singer to write with him.

An anonymous source is quoted as saying: "James loves her ideas and shares her sense of humour. He reckons the humour from Lily's first album, 'Alright, Still' will come across on the small screen.

"If they can recreate the laughs they have together at the pub it should be interesting to hear how their stuff turns out."
