Amy Winehouse set for rehab at Frankie Howerd's house - Tabloid Hell
Singer could be heading for comedian's country retreat
Amy Winehouse could be staying at comedian Frankie Howerd's house for a spell of rehab.
The Sun reports that Winehouse's mum, Janis, is keen for the singer to experience the apparent healing atmosphere of the country house.
The £800,000 country house in Cross, Somerset, is currently owned by a friend of Howerd's, Chris Byrne, who got over his alcoholism at the retreat.
Although Byrne is already planning to turn the house into a retreat for drug and alcohol abusers if it doesn't sell, Janis Winehouse is reportedly keen for her daughter to stay at the country pad in an attempt to curb her bad habits.
Howerd died in 1992.
