Noel Gallagher to 'head into the boxing ring with Ricky Hatton' - Tabloid Hell

Oasis man set to carry one of The Hitman's belts?

Oasis leader Noel Gallagher has apparently been asked to accompany Ricky Hatton into the ring at one of the Mancunian boxer's forthcoming fights.

The Hitman wants Gallagher to carry one of his championship belts to the ring before his fight with Paulie Malignaggi at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas on November 22, according to The Sun.

Oasis are due to play Mexico City just a few days later on November 26, so are likely to be in the right side of the Atlantic around the time of the fight.

Hatton also apparently wants 'Wonderwall' as his entrance music.

A source said: "Noel has agreed in principle. They're big mates."

Hatton apparently wants to return the favour and see Oasis on their 'Dig Out Your Soul' UK tour next month.
