N-Dubz's Dappy has claimed a crazed fan bit his ear in scenes reminiscent of Mike Tyson's infamous boxing match with Evander Holyfield in 1997.

The rapper - real name Costadinos Contostavlos - told the Daily Mirror that the incident happened backstage at the group's gig at Doncaster Dome on Thursday (April 14).

He admitted to being scared during the clash, adding that it "hurt so much".

"She leaned in for a hug, before going 'Raaaah!!' and getting me in a scary headlock. Then she just bit into my ear," Contostavlos recalled.

Thankfully for the singer, his security team got the fan in a headlock of their own before dragging her away.

Earlier this month, it was reported that Dappy had a bottle of water smashed over his head during a dinner date with Tinchy Stryder.

He was also apparently mugged of £10,000-worth of jewellery by three knife-wielding thugs in the toilets at the Mao Tai eatery in London.
